some basics: in beading you can use wire, thread and needle(that is more like sewing), or nylon thread, aka: fishing line. in this tutorial i will use nylon thread. the size of the thread is very important, you will have to use beads big enough, so that the thread will fit through the hole about 3 or 4 times.
in beading there is one simple thing you have to keep in mind: the threads can go in eighter direction of the beads. a cross stich is probably the most important thing in beading. the thread has 2 ends, and when you cross the bead from each sides with both ends, that is a cross stich. you can incrase(make the space larger) or decrase(make the space smaller) the stiches on whatever form you are making. to do so you just have to make a cross stich that goes through more than one bead. the direcrion of the thread can be changed, by adding one more bead on one side and one less on the other. usually you end the beading with a knot(left over right, right over left), and then hide it with rethreading the beads and then cut the lefover thread. well, that's about it.

what you will need: some seed beads, some bigger beads(you can use glass, crystal, or firepolished beads), and about 25-30cm thread. these depend on the lenght you want to make. this beaded bead has 2 sections, but you could make just 1, or even 3 if you like.
i'm using 0,2 mm nylon thread, 2 mm seed beads(2 colors to make a diffrance in the sections for this tutorial), and 4 mm firepolished glass beads.

now comes the first cross stich. cross on the 8th bead from both sides with both ends of the thread.

then push the circle you got to the middle of the thread. you will operate with left and right thread from now on. it's important to know, which direction you take.

here comes the trick. thread through the next bead on the left(next to the middle bead on which you crossed the threads) with the left thread. this way you will have 2 beads between the 2 threads.

now you should have 4 big beads, 8 seed beads on one side and 6 on the other, so all that's left is to finish it off. to do that you will need to thread your left thread through the next 2 seed beads on the left, and the big bead next to them.

put up 2 seed beads on one of the threads and cross them both with the other. now you can see how the pattern works. there are 2 seed beads between 2 big beads. when you have this step, it's easy to make one more section, but if you want to stop now and leave it as it is, to have this one section ready, all you need to do is, to go through the seed beads (6) with one side of the thread so the 2 threads meet and you can make a knot there. after that thread both sides of the thread through the seed beads or you can thread the whole thing through again to make it stronger, and then cut the leftover threads.

now to make the second section. you already have the 8 seed beads base, so all you need to do is to follow the pattern as before. right thread: 1 big bead, 2 seed beads, 1 big bead, and cross on this big bead. after that, left thread: go though the next 2 seed beads on the left. don't forget this step.

right thread: 2 seed beads, 1 big bead, cross. and so on till you have 4 big beads.
jobb damil: 2 kis gyöngy, 1 nagy gyöngy, keresztezz. és így tovább amíg 4 nagy gyöngyig jutsz.
now, left thread: go through the next 2 seed beads, and 1 big bead.

now to hide the knot, thread both threads through the seed beads again, or the whole thing to make it more stable. and then cut the lefover threads as much as you can. be careful not to cut the other part of the thread that hold the thing together.
most rejtsd el a csomót, fűzd át mindkét damilt a kis gyöngyökön, vagy az egész művön, hogy stabilabb legyen. és vágd le a maradék damilt amennyire csak tudod. légy óvatos hogy a damil többi részét ami összetartja az egészet, ne vágd el.

so what is silver foil engraving? well, it's a picture that you engrave to a black board-like hard paper, that has silver foil under it. when you engrave the lines of your pic, you get a nice silver-like image. this was my first try with engraving and tho it's a bit tiring and takes long to make, i liked it very much. in engraving, there are also 2 more kinds: gold and color pics. so i think i will try those in the future. and here is what i made:
