in this tutorial i will show you how to make hemp jewlery with different knots.

ebben az útmutatóban megmutatom hogy kell zsineg ékszereket készíteni különböző csomókkal.

what you will need: hemp cord, or something alike, even yarn can be used, a pen or a bruss, anything you can use as a base, some beads perhaps.
amire szükség lesz: zsineg, vagy valami hasonló, akár fonalat is lehet használni, egy toll vagy ecset, bármi ami alap lehet, esetleg pár gyöngy.


spiral - spirál
first cut 2 very long staws of cord, then fold them in half so that one half is about a bit longer than your wrist(or neck, or whatever), and the other half is longer(about a meter long). loop them on the pen(be sure that you can slide the cords of at the end) like on the picture, and make sure that the shorter halfs are inside and the longer ones are outside. the shorter halfs on the inside will be your center piece, and you will work with the longer ones.

now take the right cord and place it over the center piece and under the left cord.

then take the left cord and place it under the center piece and over the right cord(pulling it through the loop you made).

then pull tight slowly and carful that every cord stays at it's place, so you might need to pull all cords. slide the knot that you made right to the base. now keep making this knot over and over again. stay on the same side and don't swich, this way you will get the spiral shape. if you want to add beads just put them on the center piece and keep knotting like nothing happened. once you have the desired lenght, slide the loops off the pen, and to make the loops smaller just slide the knots to the end of the loops gently. now this might take some time and patience. you will see that you can change the spirals size by sliding and twisting. the more you press the knots together and the more you twist them closer the smaller they get.
if you're done, just cut off the access cord, but leave just enough to be able to tie it together. or if you like you can also take a button or a big bead and tie it on the end so you can close the loop with it.

then make the same knot as in the spiral knot and at the next knot swich the sides and keep on making the knot and the swiching sides.
