what you will need: a zipper, about 40cm long(i think i used a 50cm one for this tutorial), any color, but the metal zippers look best and i only ever seen black and white metal zippers. there are divided zippers, but you can go with a normal one too. if you use a divided one, simply divide it(step1), if you have a normal one you will need to cut off the ends to divide it(step2).
also you will need some felt in the same coror of the zipper.

you will use only 1 side of the zipper. so you have material for one more.

you need to cut both ends off, so that the zipper that you will work with is a line.
le kell vágnod mindkét véget, tehát csak egy egyenletes vonal legyen a cipzárod amivel dolgozol.
cut out a small circle of felt.
vágj ki egy kis kör filcet.
now, you will need to sew one end of the zipper on the felt circle like so:

make a loop and sew it with 2 stiches on the felt as well. this makes the 1. petal.

now make a loop on the opposite side of the 1. petal. sew it.

well, the process is somewhat similar to the folded ribbon flower, that i showed you in december. all you need to do is to make loops and sew them down. so the 3rd loop will come on the side of the first petal, between the first and the second petal, but not in the middle, so the 5th petal will have a place next to it in the end.
then make the 4th loop on the opposite side, and then back on the side of the second petal, between the second and the 3rd petal comes the 5th loop. it's not that hard, cos all you need to do is to follow the will of the zipper.

sew the 5th petal down with more stiches and then make a double knot to secure the flower. then cut off the exess thread.

now you have the 5 petals, so you need to make the center of the flower. as you can see there is some zipper left. take some thread and a needle.

start rolling up the end of the zipper, and secure the roll with some stiches. so roll a bit than sew it.

when you reach the petals, place this bud in the middle of them. hold it there with your fingers, so that it won't roll out, and sew the bud for the last time.

sew the bud to the base, so to the felt, this way you secure the bud and the flower will take on it's final shape.

after you sewn the flower up, make a double knot then cut the exess thread off.

now cut down a bit of the felt that stands out.

and you have a zipper flower.
és kész van a cipzár virágod.
after this, you can glue or sew the flower on anything you can think of.
